Recipients vote with one click — which opens a quick confirmation page. You watch results stream into your dashboard. Close polls when you have the answer.
Hey team — vote whichever resonates.
Click any option. In a real email, this opens a new tab.
Pick an option in Frame 1 to see the confirmation page here.
A simple confirmation page. No login, no app to install.
See every poll, every vote, live. Close when you have your answer.
How it works
No new app to learn. No links to copy. No friction for voters.
Click the Polls for Gmail icon in the Gmail compose sidebar.
Type your question and up to 10 options, then click insert.
Recipients vote in one click — no sign-in needed. Watch results land live in your dashboard.
Everything in the box
The tag on each card shows the plan it needs — most are free, the advanced controls unlock with Pro.
Every poll you've sent, with its question, options, vote count, and timestamp — all searchable from your dashboard. Reopen any poll to see how everyone voted in aggregate.
Compose a poll right inside Gmail's compose sidebar. It renders as a clean, table-based card inside the email body — no iframe, no external page, no broken images.
Recipients click an option, land on a confirmation page, done. No signup, no Google login, no app to install. Works for anyone you can email.
Watch votes land in real time. Per-option counts, percentages, totals, and a one-click "close poll" toggle. Bookmark-friendly URL per poll.
Ask each voter for their name or email — with a clear notice, so there are no surprises. Your dashboard then shows exactly who picked which option, with timestamps. Per poll, make it required, recommended, or off for anonymous voting.
Pick "Multiple choice" when you create a poll and each recipient can choose more than one answer — perfect for "which of these work for you?" or "pick your top three." Included on every plan, free included. Results show each option's share of voters.
Offer a few date-and-time slots and let recipients pick the ones that work — meeting scheduling right inside the email, no back-and-forth and no separate scheduling app. The winning slot rises to the top as votes come in.
Fix a typo, reword the question, or add an option after the email's already gone out. The poll card updates in place for everyone, so a small mistake never means resending.
Go beyond a plain choice: star ratings (with an average score), ranked choice (voters order their preferences, scored by rank), quick Yes / No approvals, and open-ended written responses. Pick the type when you create the poll — the vote page and your dashboard adapt automatically.
Pick from three header palettes — Classic black, Mint, or Lavender — so the poll card matches your brand or the tone of the email. Set once per poll at compose time.
Set a deadline when you create a poll. Voting closes automatically when time's up. No more reminders to your future self to wrap things up manually.
Choose whether voters see live percentages after voting, or just a thank-you. Keeps polls neutral when you're after honest signal — no bandwagon effect.
Strip the "Made with Polls for Gmail" footer from the inserted card. Useful when the poll sits inside a heavily-branded newsletter or formal team email.
Build and launch a poll straight from your dashboard on the web — no Gmail compose window needed. Handy for setting up several polls at once or working outside your inbox.
Take the raw votes anywhere: download a clean CSV, or push results straight to Google Sheets for pivot tables, charts, and sharing with the rest of your team.
Ask the right way
Start with a simple choice, or reach for a richer format when the question calls for it. Every type is on every plan — tap any card to see it in action.
The classic poll — voters pick one option out of up to ten (twenty on Pro). Results show as a live percentage bar so you see the winner at a glance.

Yes — on every plan, free included. When you create a poll you choose the voter identification mode: Required (each voter enters their name and email before voting), Recommended (they're asked but can stay anonymous), or Off (fully anonymous).
