Install the add-on from the Google Workspace Marketplace. A poll icon appears in Gmail's compose sidebar. Click it, type your question and up to 6 options, then insert the poll into your email. Recipients see vote buttons inside the email and click to vote — their selection lands in your live results dashboard.

Standard gives you 5 polls per calendar month — a quota that resets on the 1st. Pro is unlimited polls plus the advanced controls: color themes (Classic / Mint / Lavender), a voting deadline that auto-closes the poll, hiding results from voters until you choose to share them, removing the "Made with…" footer, CSV export, and priority email support. Pick Standard if 5 polls per month covers you; pick Pro for unlimited + the advanced toolkit.
Pro is $75 per year — billed once annually, cancel anytime. It includes unlimited polls plus color themes, voting deadlines, hide-results, remove branding, CSV export, and priority email support. If 5 polls per calendar month is enough for you, Standard is $25/year.
The quota resets at the start of every calendar month (UTC). If you've used your 5 polls in June, the meter goes back to zero on July 1st. There's nothing to click — the next poll you create after midnight UTC counts against the new month.
Yes. As recipients vote, results update live in your Polls for Gmail dashboard. You can close a poll at any time to lock in the final results.
